The Danish Association changed its name last year to come "in line" with the various Continence Foundations and is now called Kontinensforeningen instead of Dansk lnkontinensforening. Our President is Dr Gunnar Lose; our Chairman is Nurse Bodil Hansen, and our Secretary General is Jette Balslev. The office is open for telephone calls, Monday-Friday 9:00-16.00. |
We publish a quarterly Newsletter of 20 pages, Kontinens Nyt. We hold public meetings approximately four times a year and workshops for home care and hospital staff, in close cooperation with doctors and continence nurses. Our funding came mainly from public funds in 1997 and 1998, supplemented by some private funding too. We have approximately 900 members.
